Our Team

Dr. David Maixner | Endodontist

Dr. Maixner attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1989. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1993 and practiced general family dentistry in Davenport, Iowa, for the next two years.


His endodontic residency training (1995-97) was completed at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in Lincoln, Nebraska. In 1997, he founded the practice of Midwest Endodontics. In addition, Dr. Maixner is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. While not required to practice, this distinction is the highest level of achievement in endodontics. Less than a quarter of all practicing endodontists have attained diplomate status. He and his family reside in Omaha.

Dr. Corey Karimjee | Endodontist

Dr. Karimjee attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1996. He graduated from the University Of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Dentistry in 2002. He then completed his endodontic residency training and Master of Science degree in 2004.


His next two years were spent practicing endodontics in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In 2006, he moved to Omaha to become a partner in Midwest Endodontics L.L.C. In addition, Dr. Karimjee is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. While not required to practice, this distinction is the highest level of achievement in endodontics. Less than a quarter of all practicing endodontists have attained diplomate status. He and his family reside in Omaha.

Polly - Patient Care Coordinator

Polly started her dental career at Midwest Endodontics in 1999 as a Dental Assistant for 12 years. She rejoined our team in 2022. She can help get your appointment scheduled and answer any questions you may have.


In her spare time she loves shopping, going out to eat and watching her daughter play softball. In the summer you can find her at the pool or lake.

Angie - Insurance Coordinator

Angie stated with Midwest Endodontics in 2023. She enjoys being able to explain dental benefits to our patients. In her spare time, Angie loves to spend time with her family. She is a Christian and loves attending church with her family and friends. God and family are the most important things in her life. She loves puzzles, video games and dancing. She has been dancing since she was a little girl! She is a mom to 2 lovely and amazing pups!

Abby - Office Manager

Owner of a curly tailed Shiba Inu, a contagious smile and a positive attitude. Abby will be there to help you get your treatment scheduled and answer any payment questions you may have.   

 

She is originally from Ashland OH and joined our team in 2021. One of her favorite things to do is going hiking with her fiancé and pup. 

Michelle - Dental Assistant

Michelle started at Midwest Endodontics in 2022. She loves coming to work and making sure each patient has a pleasant experience.



Michelle spends her free time with her husband, two young daughters and two dogs. She enjoys teaching her dogs new tricks and watching her girls’ personalities expand. When she’s not hanging out with her girls, she enjoys playing video games.

Nancy - Dental Assistant

She joined our team in 2019. She enjoys getting to know each patient and helping them through their procedures.



She loves spending time with her grandson and is looking forward to her second grandbaby coming soon. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. In the summer you will find her on the lake sunning or boating.

Alisa - Dental Assistant

Alisa started with Midwest Endodontics in 2019. She enjoys coming to work and building a positive and friendly relationship with each patient.



Alisa enjoys traveling, photography and landscaping. In the summer months you may find her at the golf course, watching sports or sitting on the patio with family and friends.
